Sushant Singh Rajput‘s unfortunate death by suicide has led to an investigation by the Mumbai police. But, while that was on-going, his father, K. K. Singh filed a complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, accusing her of abetment to suicide.

 Now, a team of police officers from Bihar have reached Mumbai to conduct investigations on the case.

But, in a tweet yesterday, the DGP of Bihar, Gupteshwar Pandey, alleged that the IPS officer who had reached Mumbai to probe Sushant’s death, Vinay Tiwari, has been forcefully asked to quarantine by the civic authorities in the city.

The chief minister, on being asked by the media on Monday morning, said that whatever happened to him (Tiwari) was not 'right'.

"It is not political as Bihar police is discharging its legal responsibility. Our DGP has been asked to speak to his Maharashtra counterpart over the issue, "Kumar said while on his way to attend the monsoon session of Legislative Assembly.
